El Molino del Rio is a charming countryside hotel situated in the picturesque setting of the Río Argos Canyon (Lower Cretaceous), at the foot of the mountains Sierra del Gavilan, a protected natural area in the northwest of Murcia, and near to the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña.
Most of the houses that make up this flour mill were built in early 1500. Care has been taken in keeping the original structure and decoration from the the 16th century, offering the ambience of a boutique hotel.

The cottages are surrounded by an organic farm and orchards of walnut trees. There are seasonal organic vegetables for the kitchen of El Molino.
